The Cambridge Energy Alliance is debuting a poster art exhibit to inform the public about climate change and its impacts, the carbon emissions of Cambridge, and how local citizens can make a difference. Over 80% of Cambridge’s Climate emissions come from residential and commercial buildings, so eliminating wasted energy in our homes and workplaces is a priority.…
CEA has received a number of tickets for free general admission to the Museum of Science, and is making them available to interested parties. They will be available for pick-up from CEA’s offices beginning at noon on Friday 9/25, which should be staffed until 7PM on that date.…

The Python-esque composite image above is an example of the work by Sammy Baloji, one of the finalists in this year’s Prix Pictet for environmental art. Also nominated is Edward Burtynsky, whose work is on exhibit at the Museum of Science as previously mentioned.

The DeCordova Museum & Sculpture Park in Lincoln, home to the lovely “Pine Sharks” pictured at left, is featuring an exhibit of photography on the effects of the built environment dubbed Power Structures.
This is also another Cambridge Open Studios weekend
